Gaurav leaving Uttaran?

The buzz is that TV actor Gaurav Chopra is leaving his show Uttaran.

The actor will not be seen on the show as he will be shooting for a film. The producers of the Colors show, Film Farm, have accommodated his absence by sending his character Rahtore away. The current story track, of the lead Ichcha searching for her baby while Rathore for his, will reach a culmination point within the next two weeks. Rathore will uncover the culprit and lot of wrongs will be set right.

Villains Nani and Pushkar will be punished in the show eventually. Gaurav says, “As Rathore is a fighter who takes action, dilly dallying wouldn’t have suited the character.” Will Gaurav return to the show? “Sure. But nothing is confirmed on TV, and who knows what will happen when I return.”

Actors Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu, who play Tapasya and Veer in Uttaran respectively, were on a break due to their wedding, and will be back on the show too. In their absence, the TRPs of Uttaran soared and Film Farm, who had postponed the planned leap, are now working on it.
