Severe Weather In Spain: Tarragona Hit By Hail, Flooding And Lightning

An intense hailstorm battered Tarragona in Spain’s Catalonia region on Monday, flooding streets, bringing down trees and disrupting road and rail services. Footage from inside a motorhome captured hail and heavy rain pounding the vehicle as lightning flashed overhead. Catalonia’s 112 emergency service received 373 weather-related calls by 7 pm local time, while firefighters responded to 162 incidents in just one hour, including 105 in Tarragona city.
