Siix pack abs might be a fitness goal for many actors but not for television actor Shashank Vyas (right). He says that one needs to be passionate about work. “I feel working out is important as it helps you stay fit but having six pack abs is no guarantee that you are a good actor. You need to be talented as well as passionate about your job. It’s all about giving good performances,” says Shashank, who is currently working in the show Jana Na Dil Se Door.

Actor Shashank Vyas says being fit is not enough to be an actor, you need to be passionate about your work.

Socialising is another aspect of being a celebrity, which the 30-year-old does not enjoy, he rather prefers relaxing at home. “I love staying at home and there are a few friends with whom I get along with, so I go and meet them. I feel partying takes a lot of your time and energy, which is why I prefer to stay away from it. Plus, I am a workaholic and I love my job, so most of my time goes there,” adds the actor who has been part of popular show Balika Vadhu.

Meanwhile, prior to joining his current show, Vyas took a sabbatical from work to travel. “I travelled within India to places such as Leh Ladakh and Jaipur as well as abroad. I concentrated on myself, now the rest time is over and I’m thrilled to be back to work,” he says.
