The actor will be seen in a rustic avatar in Star One’s Rang Badalti Odhani. Hiten is famous for donning unique roles on TV and this time he will be emulating Shah Rukh Khan’s look in Paheli. The actor will play an unconventional role of a village boy, who has changed the course of many people’s lives. In the upcoming episodes, he will play cupid for the soap’s lead characters, Shantanu and Khanak, and will try to reunite the quarrelling couple.

Commenting on his entry, Hiten says, “I went on a sabbatical after my last show as I was concentrating on my business. I am a complete workaholic and hate sitting idle. The purpose for which I went into hibernation is now met and I can’t wait to get back to acting. Also, it’s the first time when I will be donning traditional attire in a show. So it’s pretty exciting.”
