I won’t discuss my personal life: Gaurav Chopra

TV actor Gaurav Chopra has previously been in much publicised relationships with Narayani Shastri and Mouni Roy.

Now, he has a new girlfriend, Surveen Chawla, but is choosing to stay mum about his love life.

The couple has been spotted together at several parties and events, including the recent premiere of the Hussain Kuwajerwala-starrer, Shree. But while the two are making no attempt to hide their relationship, they’ve decided to not be vocal about it with the media, and their family and close friends too are supporting them wholeheartedly.

Ask Gaurav to comment on their relationship and he sounds peeved. “I don’t want to comment on it. A lot has been said about my girlfriends, break-ups, exes and whether me or my current girlfriend are friends with my exes,” he says.

Indeed, there has always been a lot of coverage about Narayani and Mouni in context with their relationship with Gaurav. Now, the actor has finally chosen to clam up. “I used to be quite open about my personal life, but now I am averse to talking about it. I am open about who I am seeing and won’t hide that in public, but I refuse to talk about it. The media has stretched that band more than they should have, so now I won’t discuss it at all,” says Gaurav.

Currently, Gaurav stars in TV show Uttaran, while Surveen has moved on to films. After a couple of Punjabi movies, she is making her Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt’s Hate Story 2.
