Isha Sharvani has been impressing the judges and audiences alike with her performances in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. This week, she faced the judges’ challenge called Teen Ka Tadka, where she had to perform with an additional partner- Karanvir Bohra.

Isha Sharvani has been impressing the judges and audiences alike with her performances in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. This week, she faced the judges’ challenge called Teen Ka Tadka, where she had to perform with an additional partner- Karanvir Bohra, along with her choreographer Salman.

Isha’s act was a sensuous pole dance, which received thunderous applause. Judge Remo D’Souza called it a “parivarik (family-oriented) pole dance”, while Karan Johar made a cheeky comment that it looked like a threesome on stage.

Isha says, “When your performance is admired, it encourages you to do better. It felt great when Remo said it was the first pole dance on TV.”

The performance had complex steps that included throwing Isha towards Karanvir. Isha says that she fell several times during the practice sessions. In fact, on the final day, she danced despite nursing bruises. Of course, she was rewarded with a maximum 30 points.
