Asmit Kaushik, the daily’s lead actor, informs that Shubh Kadam was the original name for the show. The creative team changed it to Kaisi Laagi Lagan because they wanted to begin with a college track targetting the youth. But now that the lead pair is tying the knot, the show moves into family space and hence the need to revert to the original name.

“The promos have already been shot and the producers will announce the name soon,” adds Kaushik.
Sameer Khurana, the associate creative head of Cinevistas, the producers of the show, refuses to comment saying that he has not received any intimation from Sahara One. The channel was also unavailable for comment.

Another rumour doing the rounds is that Sahara One is not too happy with Kaushik and he might be replaced.
