Kapil Sharma beats Shah Rukh Khan on Facebook

One is Bollywood's badshah while the other is TV star of sizable following. One is the master of blockbusters while the other is making inroads into Bollywood. Yet, on Facebook, Kapil Sharma has left SRK behind.

It is not every day that a Bollywood megastar plays second fiddle to a TV personality. But that's exactly what has happened with Shah Rukh Khan.

TV star Kapil Sharma is ahead of Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan on Facebook.



Here's how.



While SRK has 8.3 million likes on his official page, the number of likes on the comedian's official page has touched 9.3 million.

When told about the development, Kapil Sharma said, "How does it matter? Obviously it does not mean I have greater following than SRK. He is a legend. It will be cheap if I start thinking on such lines."



"Though it is nice to know that people love the show and myself. Our show comes on air every week, may be that's the reason," he added.



Dabangg star Salman Khan maintained his popularity with 15 million likes while Deepika Padukone, who is arguably the most popular celeb on Facebook, has 16 million likes on the official page.



Superstar Amitabh Bachchan is way behind Salman and Deepika with 11 million likes on his official Facebook page.



Recently, when was declared the most popular celeb on the social networking site, the actor thanked her fans through a live chat on Facebook.



Can we expect a similar from Kapil for his 9.3 likes? We can always be hopeful.
