Pooja Misrra issues legal notice to Pooja Bedi

Model-turned-actor Pooja Misrra who made news when she was evicted from the television reality show Bigg Boss 5 last year, is irked by a recent article by her fellow housemate on the show, Pooja Bedi. Published in a local daily, the piece slams Misrra.

Published in a local daily, the piece slams Mishra, and has led the starlet to issue a legal notice to Bedi, asking for a clarification about what she wrote.

Sharing a copy of the notice, Misrra’s advocate and legal advisor Atul Mankane says, “We have sent a notice to Pooja Bedi and a few other people involved in the issue. As I understand it, Bedi has been writing columns for various newspapers, magazines etc. In one of the columns, which is a news article, she has written something to resolve her own grudges."

"She has a relationship with the newspaper in which she has column and can write whatever she feels. That particular column has been utilised to portray herself as better than my client, which is absolutely incorrect and which canbe challenged under law.”

On the legal proceedings, Mankane reveals that Misrra already has a case pending in the cyber cell, where she claims that her email ID and Twitter account have been hacked through unknown sources.

“We are filing an application under RTI to understand who is accessing the email account in an unauthorised manner. A complaint has been filed with the cyber cell, for which the investigation is pending,” says Mankane.

Misrra is awaiting a satisfactory justification against the notice, or she will take the matter up in court.

“If we get a reply satisfying our allegations or clarifying the status, we can think of appropriate action. Otherwise, I will have no option apart from approaching the appropriate court for a remedy,” says Mankane.
