Pritam composes title track for SRK's TV show
Film music director Pritam Chakraborthy has composed the title track for NDTV Imagine’s Ghar ki Baat Hai.
Film music director Pritam Chakraborthy has composed the title track for NDTV Imagine’s Ghar ki Baat Hai.
The song for the show, produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Productions, will be rendered by Sukhwinder Singh.
Chakraborthy says it’s a very ‘today’ track since the show is an updated Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi.
The music director doesn’t take on too many movie projects.. courtesy the time he dedicates for every song in an album. How did he make time for this?
“Because this is a Shah Rukh Khan project. I know the teams from Red Chillies and NDTV Imagine.
Shailaja (Kejriwal) of Imagine and I have worked together when she was with Star. I was tweaking Billu Barber’s soundtrack when I took this on.”
No time for TV
Chakraborthy is one of the mahagurus on Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009. Will he now be doing a lot more TV?
He responds, “I don’t have the time. But initially, I had composed for countless TV show (Kashmeer and Remix) title montages. I’ve won three ITA awards as well.”
