Aarya says, "He doesn’t matter to me. Even when I lost my cool, I was respectful. I was a calmer person in the house as opposed to Puneet, who was so negative and cheap. He degrades women. I have always given the benefit of doubt to people. And also believed that if you are nice to people, they will be nice to you. But there are some who will never be nice to you."

Aarya is glad that more people know him now. "I wanted to be part of the show because one gets money, fame and popularity through it, but I wanted to see if I can remain calm in high pressure situations. I also wanted to talk about my upcoming book on this platform. I’m happy that people, who didn’t know I existed, now know me," says the actor.

Aarya also got embroiled in a number of controversies including plotting with ex-contestant Minnisha Lamba to project a fake love story in the house to garner more attention. His spat with another contestant Puneet Issar was also talked about. However, the actor says that he has no regrets since he knew what he was getting into. "This show is about controversies and not about families. I am cool with the attention I got in the house. But I saw the bad side of some people in the house, which was shocking," he reveals.
