On Thursday, the actor seemed defensive about allegations of favouritism by actor Pooja Bedi, a recently-evicted participant. Bedi had hinted that Salman favours Mehak and that the latter’s win is almost pre-scripted.
"Don’t stress abt it, known pooja since 20yrs , she is sweet , let it go . It’s all good," tweeted Salman, in response to queries by fans about these allegations.
On Wednesday, Bedi wrote on Twitter: "Shakti Kapoor too said the same thing… And now there are news reports about Mehak accompanying Salman to his outdoor shoots." About Sallu’s clarification, she said, "There were rumours and they were strengthened when Salman shouted at Sid (another participant) for fighting with Mehak." Bedi adds that her comments have not caused a rift between her and Salman.
The controversy around Salman and Mehak’s relationship is only growing. A few days ago, evicted inmate Shakti Kapoor, made headlines when he tweeted saying, "Mehak is Salman’s girl. So she has a big contestant 2 win... "
The Twitter handle has now been deactivated and Kapoor says it was a fake account. Similar stories are abuzz inside the Bigg Boss house. In an episode, contestant Sidharth Bhardwaj insinuated that Sallu is making too many concessions for Mehak.
