Sangeeta Ghosh, who made a mark in shows like Viraasat and Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand with her sexy roles, will soon be back on the tube. She was away from TV for over seven years; her last show Rabba Ishq Na Hove ended in 2006.

“Yes, I am doing a show and I’m excited about working again,” says Sangeeta. While she refuses to divulge more details, sources claim the story of the show is rather bold, as it is about an older woman falling in love with a young man, a theme rarely explored on TV. The shoot will start by July-end and the show should be on air in August.

“This new show struck a chord with me. I’m feeling rejuvenated working after 5-6 years,” she says.

Sangeeta’s debut film, Dharmesh Darshan’s Bhanwara, never released. “It was disappointing,” she says. Though seen in the second season of Zara Nachke Dikha in 2010, Sangeeta then took a break.

“I was tired of the rut. I had lost the drive to work,” she says. The actor also got married in the interim and was busy with that phase of her life. “My husband is Rajvi Shailendra Singh Rathore, with Rajvi being a title of royalty. I am called Rani-sa in Rajasthan,” says Sangeeta.
