The NDTV Imagine weekly soap initially focussed on a mum and her three daughters.. but since it has turned into a daily, a slew of new characters are expected.

Hukku meanwhile has been brought in to win the affections of the second daughter played by Ragini Khanna who is desperate to become a model. “She soon falls in love with me because I’m the ideal guy.. rich, suave and creative,” he boasts.

Producer Ekta Kapoor had an exclusive contract with Star Plus which meant that she couldn’t shift the show to another time slot nor channel.
