Michael Jackson is set to moonwalk into TV viewers' homes, for his documentary, a collection of rehearsal footage from the 50 London shows Jackson was scheduled to perform is heading for the small screen.

Late King of Pop Michael Jackson is set to moonwalk into US TV viewers' homes, for network bosses at MTV have secured rights to air his concert movie This Is It in 2011.

This Is It premiered worldwide last month and has already raked in nearly 223 million dollars at the worldwide box office.

The documentary is a collection of rehearsal footage from the 50 London shows Jackson was scheduled to perform from July (09). And now it is heading for the small screen after the cable network secured exclusive rights in the U.S. MTV has six-year window to air the movie beginning in 2011.

"Michael Jackson has always been inextricably tied to our viewers as they witnessed his evolution from a talented performer to a global icon who redefined music. Now, with this film, we can help give his fans a chance to see his final performance," Contactmusic quoted Network president Van Toffler as saying.
