The khiladi factor

Cricketer Anjum Chopra is geared up to perform some edgy stunts on Fear Factor India.

She has shown her talent on the cricket field. Now, Anjum Chopra, former captain and a member of the Indian women’s cricket team, is set to play a different game.

The 33-year-old, who is part of Colors’ upcoming adventure-based reality show, Fear Factor-Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 4, is quite keyed up about the show.

Chopra says, “I am quite excited about my participation but my friends and family are far more excited. For me, performing consistently and giving my 100 percent to each stunt is my aim. Having said that, winning the show is definitely on my priority list.” Besides the stunts, Chopra is also kicked up about meeting host Akshay Kumar. “I have always admired Akshay as he is a self-made man”, says Chopra, who is currently shooting for the series in South Africa. Interestingly, among the other contestants this year are controversy queens Poonam Pandey, Sambhavna Seth and Kashmera Shah. However, Anjum is unfazed. “The other contestants do not bother me as I am doing the show to conquer my fears,” says Chopra, who feels there should be an IPL for the women’s team.
