Star Plus has just re-affirmed its strong foothold in the GEC sector with the latest TAM ratings. Pushing down all the competition, Star Plus remains the numero uno GEC with a GRP of 322.

Last heard, Colors was breathing down Star’s neck when Balika Vadhu became the number one show in the beginning of March. But after Star’s overwhelming success the gap has widened and Colors has now gone to the number three position with a GRP of 250 with Set Max in second position with a GRP of 301.

Till now Bidaai was the number one show but now it has been pushed to number two spot by the newly launched Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. But no-one is complaining as both the shows come from the Rajan Shahi stable. And the bull run continues for Star as its recently launched show Sabki Laadli Bebo by Endemol too has been received well with an initial TRP of 4.9 which makes it the number four show across all channels.

Yeh Rishta… has garnered a TRP of 6.4 and Bidaai occupied the number two slot by registering a TRP of 6.3. With this latest development Balika Vadhu which for the last couple of weeks was enjoying the top slot is now at number three with a TRP of 5.9.
