TV actors’ Holi plans: Family time for Divyanka, gujiya for Shashank

While work is keeping some of them busy, other telly actors are looking forward to celebrating Holi with their families and friends today

Be it making gujiya, attending Holi bashes, or celebrating it with kids, these television actors are planning to enjoy the festival in full glory

Vahbiz Dorabjee: Holi reminds actor Vahbiz Dorabjee of colours and happiness. “I never make any specific plans as there is already so much celebration around you. I might attend some Holi bashes with my family this year,” she says.

Shashank Vyas: Work is keeping actor Shashank Vyas busy this year. “I won’t be playing Holi this year. But I love sweets, so I will make sure I relish some today. I remember my best Holi was the time I had bhang in school. I slept for two days straight, obviously that was the last time I had bhang,” he laughs.

Arjun Bijlani: This Holi is extra special for Arjun for this is his first Holi with his son. “This Holi is my son Ayaan’s first Holi, so my wife Neha and I are very excited. We will not play with water or any dangerous colours. Holi reminds me of sweets, and I love eating sweets which I will have to refrain from this time, because I am on a diet,” he says.

Rashami Desai: Rashami, who is currently shooting abroad, says that she is missing the celebrations back home. “I am shooting in Indonesia. I am missing all the colours and celebration, especially the gujiyas made by my mom. I still remember how we would celebrate Holi as kids and throw water on each other. I miss those days,” she says.

Divyanka Tripathi: Actor Divyanka Tripathi says she is looking forward to spending some time with her family and close friends. “Last year, we went for a picnic and that was a lot of fun. Another reason to be happy about Holi is that I get to take a break from work,” she says.
