Summers mean vacation time. So, before the monsoons could hit Mumbai, many TV stars took time off in India and abroad. Here, some of them share their vacation experiences.
My daughter Ammaara wanted to see snow, so we went to Jungfrau, Switzerland. On the other hand, my wife Sneha wanted to visit Paris, so we went to France. The fun part about the vacation was seeing happiness on their faces. We had a lot of fun. I am glad they also liked Interlaken in Switzerland a lot.
I went to Manali, Himachal Pradesh, for a nine-day yoga and meditation retreat. I not only enjoyed doing yoga and meditation, but trekking and rafting too. I loved waking on the majestic mountains, birds chirping and the early morning walks. For the first time, I went river rafting and saw snow on the Rohtang Pass.
I went to Krabi, Phi Phi Islands and Nui Island, in Thailand, along with my husband Aayushman Agrawal, who was there for a conference. We enjoyed relaxing on the beaches, eating out, swimming, and being pampered at spas. Reaching the various islands in the rainy weather was no less than an adventure.
I am an avid adventurer. I have done bungee jumping, paragliding and water sports in the past. But, this time around, I wanted to do something different. So, I chose to go skydiving in Dubai. It was so much fun. I literally felt like a bird. After jumping, my heart skipped a beat for the initial five seconds. It was scary as well. The view from the top is inexpressible and beautiful.
This year, we planned to go to San Francisco, San Jose, New York and Los Angeles. The kids wanted to go to Universal Studios. So, this whole vacation is planned for them.
We went to Hong Kong to visit Disneyland, as my daughter wanted to go. We didn’t plan anything for ourselves as we wanted her to enjoy thoroughly.
