Big Russia Vs U.S. Fight At UNSC Over Anti-Houthi Resolution | 'Divorced From Reality'

A big fight erupted between Russia and the U.S. ambassadors before the UN Security Council adopted resolution, calling on halt to Houthi attacks in the Red Sea. Russia introduced three amendments to the U.S-led resolution, which were later rejected. U.S. envoy Linda Thomas-Greenfield claimed that the 'last minute amendments were introduced in bad faith,' which were 'divorced from reality.' Russian envoy hit back, saying that the U.S. and its allies had 'cobbled up to seek legitimacy for their actions in the Red Sea.' Vassily Nebenzia also said that the U.S.-led coalition wanted an 'open-ended blessing' from the UNSC. Watch their faceoff.
