The Supreme Court has upheld an amendment to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IPC) giving homebuyers the right to take legal recourse against developers. A bench headed by justice Rohinton Fali Nariman upheld the amendment that treats homebuyers as financial creditors.
