The United States has reportedly redeployed bombers from RAF Fairford in Britain amid concerns over a possible Iranian threat targeting the base and aircraft stationed there. Reports suggest U.S. officials considered whether Iran could attempt a drone operation inspired by Ukraine’s Operation Spiderweb, which targeted Russian military aircraft deep inside Russia. B-1, B-2 and B-52 bombers were reportedly moved back to their home stations in the United States. The development comes alongside a British investigation into an alleged security plot near RAF Fairford, with several people detained and later released on police bail. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has rejected claims linking Tehran to the incident.
