Family, friends mourn Sultan Khan’s death

Family and friends mourned the death of music maestro Sultan Khan, who died of prolonged illness on Sunday in Mumbai. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and son Sabir, who has inherited his musical legacy. Musician Taufiq Qureshi recollected how the maestro had willingly agreed to render his voice to several songs in his first album. Ustad Sultan Khan was not only a noted name in the world of classical music but was also a popular voice in the world of Hindi music. He was also a part of the fusion group - Tabla Beat Science.
