Erdogan voices support to ‘people of Pakistan’ amid India tensions; ‘don’t want conflict…’

Turkey wants a de-escalation between Pakistan and India, President Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday (April 28), after the two exchanged small arms fire following last week's deadly attack on tourists in Kashmir. Erdogan was speaking in Ankara following a cabinet meeting. Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Erdogan last week in Ankara.
