Anna Hazare begins indefinite fast for Lokpal in Delhi
Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare began an indefinite fast in Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on Friday. His protest comes seven years after his first anti-graft agitation, which also saw the birth of Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party. Hazare has said that he will fast till the government appoints a Lokpal and Lokayuktas to check corruption, which they have not done so far, despite a law being in place. Hazare also said that the government stopped trains of protestors from coming into Delhi on Thursday and was trying to push people to violence.
