Flock of lapwings brave a monitor lizard in Ranthambore

Flock of Red-wattled lapwings brave a Bengal monitor lizard in Ranthambore. The monitor lizard was in pursuit of the eggs laid by a lapwing. As the lizard started advancing, the lapwings blocked its path. Failing to achieve its goal, the lizard finally retreated.
