People across India celebrated 'Krishna Janmashtami' with fervour. Devotees flocked to ISKCON in Odisha's Bhubaneswar and Mumbai's Girgaon. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath celebrated Janmashtami with children in Gorakhpur. Devotees also offered prayers at ISKCON in Paris. Janmashtami celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu.
