My First Vote: ‘Eradicate illiteracy and work on HRD’ say a group of first-time voters

Nearly 18 million people between 18 and 23 are estimated to cast their ballot for the first time in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Hindustan Times' My First Vote campaign aims to reach out to young, first-time voters to understand what they want, and what issues matter most to them. A group of first-time voter feel that the incoming government should focus more on eradicating illiteracy and work more towards the Human Resource Development (HRD). The youth wants the government to create more job opportunities in future.
