Rahul Gandhi criticizes farmers’ scheme introduced in budget

Congress president Rahul Gandhi criticized the farmers' scheme introduced by Finance Minister Piyush Goyal in the Interim Budget 2019. Rahul claimed that the whole scheme is a disrespect for farmers. Rahul's comments came after the budget was announced by the Modi-government. The government presented a scheme for farmers where the farmers will be provided with Rs 6,000 per year under the Kisan Samman Nish. A sum of Rs 75,000 crore was allocated for the scheme by the finance minister.
