Tamil Nadu rain fury: 15 killed after compound wall collapses in Coimbatore

15 people have been killed after a wall collapsed in the in a village near Mettupalayam abutting the Western Ghats in Coimbatore district. This after heavy rainfall has been witnessed in the state of Tamil Nadu. Normal life has been thrown out of gear in Chennai as water entered residential areas in the city. The MeT department has issued a red alert for 6 districts and said that more rainfall is likely in the next 24 hours.
