BJP candidate from Bhopal seat Sadhvi Pragya Thakur broke down at a BJP event. Sadhvi broke down while speaking about the torture she faced by jail officers. She alleged that she was tortured by jail officials who wanted her to say that she carried out an explosion and killed Muslims. Sadhvi is an accused in Malegaon blast case of 2008 and is currently out on bail. She was an active ABVP member before joining BJP. Sadhvi will be contesting against senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh from Bhopal seat.
