A day after China tried to shift the blame for the ongoing tension along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh, India countered its neighbour's claims. Delhi demolished Beijing's objections to development of infrastructure and military deployment along the disputed border with a 3-point riposte. China had said that India's border infra push is the root cause of tension, to which India responded by listing Chinese activity on its side of the LAC and specifying that Delhi doesn't need Beijing's permission for such projects. Experts believe that China is also spooked about its economic interests in the region, as strengthening of military deployment by India can threaten the multi-billion dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) passing through Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
