A kitten was rescued by a man in Mumbai amid floods in Wadala area. The man placed the kitten on his bike and took it home. Wadala area witnessed waterlogging after heavy rainfall. Heavy downpour in Mumbai has thrown normal life out of gear. Incessant rainfall has led to water-logging in several low-lying areas. Several areas received more than 200 mm rainfall since Monday night. Heavy showers are likely to continue for the next 48 hours, as per India Meteorological Department (IMD).
