Watch: Several parts of North India turn white after snowfall, mercury dips

Several parts of North India witnessed heavy snowfall in the last 24 hours. Roads and houses were completely covered in white in several areas of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir. National Highway 5 was blocked at Kufri & Narkanda due to heavy snowfall in the region. The weatherman has issued a heavy snowfall warning for several parts in Uttarakhand.
