After a prolonged fight to break stereotypes and equality of men and women inside religious shrines, a group of women activists entered the Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai, today. The entry came after Supreme Court's October 24th verdict, which stated that both men and women shall be allowed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the religious shrine. Under the new arrangements made by the Dargah Trust, all devotees would wait and pray nearly two metres away from the holy spot.
