Buddhists undertake a pilgrimage to Bodh Gaya

Hundreds of Buddhist pilgrims from across the globe undertake a pilgrimage to Dhurgeshwari Hills in Bodh Gaya, where an antique statue of Buddha is installed. Lord Buddha meditated at this place for seven years before attaining enlightenment. According to the Buddhists, Bodh Gaya is one of the most important pilgrimage sites associated with the life of Gautama Buddha. Beautiful natural surroundings around the cave add aesthetic flavor to this sacred place.
