Budget 2009 comes under flak from opposition parties

India's opposition parties came out strongly in criticism of the central budget presented by the Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Monday. Leader of India's Left, Brinda Karat criticised government's budget for doing very little for the common man and only catering to certain sections of the country.
