Govt to provide Rs 10 billion to flood hit K'taka

Government on Saturday extended an assistance of Rs 10 billion for the flood hit southern Karnataka state. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh announced the decision after conducting an aerial survey of the flood hit Raichur district of the state with state Chief BS Yeddyurappa.
