Mayawati to expand her base in south

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati on Monday addressed a huge rally in Chennai in an attempt to expand her party base in Tamil Nadu. For supporters she is reaching out nationally to millions of lower castes who feel left out from an economic boom. Mayawati addressing the rally said that her party was not caste-based and support of all sections was required for obtaining power in the state.
