Parliament to vote on FDI in retail: Meira Kumar

Ending days of deadlock in the Lok Sabha, Speaker Meira Kumar on Thursday allowed discussion followed by vote under rule 184 on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in multi-brand retail. Kumar announced that there would be a discussion and vote on FDI, saying she hoped that the session would function smoothly.
