WB announces reservation for Muslims in Govt jobs

West Bengal announced quotas for socially and economically backward Muslims in government jobs. Addressing a news conference in Kolkata, state chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee said that the marginalised sections of the community would be given 10 per cent reservation in jobs in the state, under the quota for Other Backward Classes (OBCs).
