Iran has announced that it has released crew on board the seized Israel-linked ship. The MSC Aries, which was seized by Tehran on April 13, had 25 crew members including 17 Indians. Iran said it seized the ship alleging violation of international maritime laws. “The seized ship, which turned off its radar in Iran’s territorial waters and jeopardized the security of navigation, is under judicial detention,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, as per Reuters.
