Changed timing of Muharram procession, not Durga Puja: UP CM Yogi in Bengal

Addressing an election rally in West Bengal's Barasat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath targeted his West Bengal counterpart. Yogi said that the TMC government in Bengal, under the stewardship of Mamata Banerjee was trying to prohibit the chanting of Ram's name. He cited the example of the Durga Puja controversy, and said that in UP, he had ordered officials to ensure conduct of Durga Puja on time, even at the expense of changing the schedule of Muharram processions.
