Szijjarto stressed Hungary’s interest in peace amid the ongoing Ukraine conflict, underscoring the country’s reliance on Russian energy supplies to "maintain stability and keep utility costs low". He highlighted successful agreements ensuring uninterrupted operation of the TurkStream gas pipeline and reaffirmed that energy cooperation with Russia continues to benefit both Hungarian citizens and businesses despite external pressures.
