Prime Minister Narendra Modi today defended his government's recent move to merge the flames at National War Memorial that had triggered massive political controversy. Modi, in his monthly Mann Ki Baat programme, said that the merging of the flames was a emotional moment for the veterans and the families of braves. He urged everyone to visit the National War Memorial in the national capital. PM Modi also spoke about the recently unveiled hologram statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at the India Gate.
