Empty streets, downed shutters: Udaipur on edge amid curfew in parts of city

Uneasy Calm in Udaipur after the horrid murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal by two men. Prohibitory order continues to be in place with 600 additional cops stationed across the city. Schools, colleges, offices and shops are shut while the internet remains suspended to maintain law & order. Cyber cell teams are monitoring the social media posts to check any fake news that can trigger tensions. There is also curfew in some parts of the city while Section 144 has been imposed in all districts of Rajasthan for a month.
