The Bharatiya Janata Party marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday and 25 years in public office with lamp-lighting ceremonies, blood donation camps, cleanliness drives and the launch of the month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. BJP workers also met beneficiaries of government schemes across states. In West Bengal, Modi released the fourth instalment of Annapurna Yojana, while BJP units in Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkhand and Kerala held various programmes to mark the occasion.
