IKEA India faces backlash for clarification over ‘racism' at Hyderabad store

IKEA India is facing backlash after its Hyderabad store issued a clarification over racism allegations. A journalist and his wife claimed that the female customer was frisked for items shopped at Hyderabad store one-by-one while other customers were not. Telangana minister KT Rama Rao called the incident unfortunate and urged the company to issue an apology. But the clarification by IKEA that came later sparked fury among netizens as it gave an excuse for the alleged 'racial profiling' of the woman from Manipur. Watch this video for more details.
