Indian Air Force formally inducted its first C-295 tactical transport aircraft. The induction ceremony was led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at Hindon Air Force base. C-295 has been made for India by global manufacturer Airbus in Seville. The C-295s will gradually replace IAF's ageing Avro-748 fleet in the 2030-31 period. The induction of superior C-295 aircraft will boost IAF's tactical airlift capability. Watch the video for more.
