India's first floating missile test range INS Anvesh to go on sea trial soon
In a major boost for the Indian defence forces, the country's first floating missile test range will begin sea trials this month. The 9,000 tonne INS Anvesh, designed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and built by Cochin Shipyard, is a specialised ship for testing missiles and torpedoes deep at sea. With the DRDO's testing range off the Odisha coast under surveillance of adversary states, INS Anvesh will provide for discreet testing of rockets. Watch the full video for more.
